You unlocked this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You just crossed over into the twilight zone.

Burning Man

I should have posted this a couple days ago. I am one of the lucky ones and my name was pulled. This year will be my 3rd. The only sad thing so far is 4 of my friends (2 virgins and one 10yr) didn’t get pulled. We’ll see what happens but it looks like I might camp solo. All in all I’m ready for another trip in the dust )’(

This isn’t some tan girl covered in makeup with perfectly straight hair and a perfect smile. This is a girl with Pfeiffer Syndrome, who has had bangs her whole life to hide her forehead and struggles everyday to be okay with looking this way. She’s had several surgeries and will have a couple more. she can’t wear makeup much, her eyes are sensitive. Her jaw is misaligned. Her forehead is too thick and has to be shaven down. Her cheekdowns have to be moved forward by surgery. when she was four she had something called a ‘halo’ which was a metal circle screwed into her skull and jaw.
though she fought through it medically, she struggles everyday with the emotional sideeffects. she doesn’t look like her family or her friends. she may never look normal. she has depression and eating issues because of what she has had to accept about herself. she has done awful things to be pretty.
nobody ever sees her without makeup or without bangs.
until now.
She, is me.
and if I make your blog ugly, than don’t reblog this. but if you can be one of the few people in my life who I know are fully comfortable with it, than reblog this so people know.
you are beautiful. even if you don’t realize it, you are. everyone is.

This is so powerful

Welcome to your new life.: Rave scene, mainstream.

escapedizzydreamer:

I want to get this off of my chest because it is bugging the crap out of me. So some of our favorite dj’s have or are going mainstream. I used to get pissed off when more people were finding out about this music and the scene. Everyone is hating on skrillex for going mainstream. It made me mad at…

Mainstream music regardless of what genre is waterdowned shit. No emotions invoked by any of those djs you listed except for I wanna get fucked up and have my face melted. I want a dj to take me on a journey, they should be playing to you at that moment not in the hotel room coming up with a set list. What are they rockstars? Haha, please, they need to be taken down a notch or two. Just because someone has a huge following doesn’t make them great. Take nickelback, huge band but shit music. Not to call anyone out but the OP sounds young. Take it from a person that has been in the scene for 14 years now. Computer djs are just glorified ipods. Plug in and hit play. What will happen if their macbooks crash? No music. I wanna see these “djs” actually spin (by the way i own an apc40, maudio xponent, traktor x1, and technic 12s) Support your local scene. These big djs don’t give a fuck about you, to them you’re just a person paying ridiculous amounts of money to watch them hit play, have a smoke, talk with friends and act like they’re doing something. If you wanna see what real djs are all about watch the documentary on youtube called “Professional Djs speaking about djing and mixing” watch the whole thing. After that watch one of these “djs” spin and you’ll laugh.

This man knows what’s up. I love the end.

7 years ago today my hero Mr.Darrell “Dimebag” Abbott was taken from us. He was murdered while doing what he loves. I was lucky enough to see him play 3 times growing up. He made a huge impact on my life growing up. So while everyone else in the world will remember John Lennon today I’ll be rocking out to pantera. R.I.P. Dimebag I’ll see you up there have a black tooth grin waiting for me.

Dj SS is a legend in the jungle/dnb scene.  This remix of ‘We came to entertain” by Sub Zero is just…

Once the DJ shuts up the track drops and oh does it drop.  Turn your speakers up!
